Barney came home to the family farm in 2015 to oversee the West Barn Lodge building project. He has since converted The Dutch Barn next door and has a passion for building works. Barney runs the lodge business alongside the farm and the family shooting business with his father Robert and uncle Philip. When not working Barney enjoys nothing less than a day out at a farm dispersal auction finding ‘rusty gold’, or spending a day in the workshop.

Pippa, Barney’s wife has been influential in the design of both the Lodge and Barn since day one and assists Barney in the running of the business. Pippa has an incredible eye for interiors and practical abilities to make a vision a reality alongside the technical skills in website design and graphics. Pippa moved to Fovant from London in 2017, to focus on her expanding Lemon Pepper Studio embroidery business. When she is not in her studio you will find her in the garden or greenhouse!

Olive has been with us since the start, our family Dachsund who has seen the Lodge and Barn take their shape over the years. She thoroughly enjoys running around in the The Dutch Barn when it is empty!
